About the role

You'll lead our strategic presence across the entire UK investment ecosystem, positioning GoGorilla as the definitive performance marketing partner through major events, thought leadership, and strategic relationship building. This is a senior strategic role where you'll design initiatives that work across all investor types and create lasting competitive advantage.


Day-to-day, you'll design and execute major industry initiatives, build relationships with key ecosystem players, represent GoGorilla at the highest levels of the investment community, and coordinate strategic activities across our entire investor partnerships function. This role sits at the Principal level and offers significant earning potential through strategic impact and ecosystem influence.


Working pattern and flexibility

This is primarily an in-office role in central London. Expect to be in the office 4 to 5 days a week during your first three months, while you learn our platform, build the playbook, and meet targets. Once established, and with manager approval, high performers can earn flexibility to work from home up to two days a week. Time tracking is a standard company policy for any work completed outside our office environment. This industry-standard practice is implemented across our entire organisation, from the executive team to interns, ensuring security, progress monitoring, and transparent performance measurement.


Strategic ownership

You'll own the strategic development of GoGorilla's ecosystem events and industry positioning initiatives. Your leadership will shape how we establish thought leadership and build strategic relationships across the investor and startup ecosystem. This role offers significant equity participation and the opportunity to create industry-defining events and programmes that become competitive advantages. You'll drive innovation in ecosystem engagement while mentoring senior team members and contributing to our overall partnership strategy. Clear progression opportunities exist to the Head of Investor Partnerships and senior executive roles as the company scales.

What you will be doing
  • Design and execute major ecosystem initiatives that position GoGorilla as a thought leader in performance marketing.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key players across the entire UK investment ecosystem.

  • Lead our presence at major industry events, conferences, and strategic networking opportunities.

  • Coordinate strategic activities across our angel network, VC, and PE partnership tracks.

  • Develop thought leadership content and speaking opportunities that enhance our brand.

  • Create strategic alliances that amplify our reach across the investment community.

  • Mentor and guide our entire investor partnerships team.

  • Represent GoGorilla at the highest levels of the investment ecosystem.



What you will bring
  • Extensive senior-level experience in the UK investment ecosystem with a strong network of relationships.

  • Proven track record of building strategic initiatives that create lasting competitive advantage.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience as a thought leader and public speaker.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to coordinate complex initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.

  • London office presence. Right to work in the UK is required. We do not offer visa sponsorship.

  • Executive presence and the ability to represent the company at the highest levels.

Compensation and progression
  • Base salary: £65,000 to £85,000 (London rates).

  • Strategic bonus: £35,000 to £55,000 through ecosystem impact and strategic milestone achievement (On-target earnings: £100,000 to £140,000).

  • Performance bonuses: Significant additional rewards for exceeding strategic targets.

  • Equity participation: Substantial share options reflecting the strategic importance of this role.

  • Benefits: Private healthcare for full-time UK employees after 6 months probation, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, laptop and modern tools, learning budget and regular team events.

  • Progression: Clear path to VP-level and executive leadership roles.

30-60-90 day expectations
  • Day 30 – Complete onboarding, map the ecosystem landscape, and design your strategic initiative roadmap.

  • Day 60 – Launch your first major ecosystem initiative and establish key strategic relationships.

  • Day 90 – Demonstrate clear ecosystem presence and strategic impact, with a roadmap for long-term competitive advantage.
