About the role


As an Agency Partnerships Lead working remotely from South Africa, you will lead channel development initiatives and manage strategic agency partnerships across the UK and international markets. You will be responsible for developing new partnership channels, managing key agency relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships.


Day-to-day, you'll identify and develop new partnership channels, negotiate partnership agreements, manage strategic agency relationships, and work with internal teams to ensure partnership success. This role requires strong strategic thinking and relationship management skills to build and maintain complex partnership ecosystems.


Working pattern and flexibility


This is a senior role available as full-time, fully remote from South Africa. You'll work closely with our London headquarters team through structured communication and regular video calls. Core collaboration hours align with South African mornings (UK afternoons) for optimal team interaction. Time tracking software is required for security and progress monitoring.


Leadership trajectory


This is a leadership role with opportunities to advance to Principal or VP-level partnership positions. You'll manage partnership strategies and may lead a team of partnership professionals. Exceptional performers will have opportunities for UK visa sponsorship and potential relocation to our London office, or advancement into executive partnership leadership roles.

What you will be doing
  • Develop and execute channel development strategies for agency partnerships.

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnership opportunities.

  • Manage relationships with key agency partners and ensure their success.

  • Lead partnership contract negotiations and commercial discussions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop partnership-specific solutions.

  • Monitor partnership performance and identify opportunities for growth.

  • Represent GoGorilla at industry events and partnership meetings.

  • Mentor junior partnership team members and contribute to team development.


What you will bring
  • University degree with 3-5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or related field.

  • Proven track record in channel development and strategic partnership management.

  • Excellent English communication and negotiation skills suitable for senior UK stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

  • Experience with technology platforms and partnership business models.

  • Right to work in South Africa with a reliable high-speed internet connection.

  • Leadership potential and ability to work independently across time zones.

Compensation and progression
  • Base salary: R50,000 to R60,000 per month (full-time).

  • Currency options: Choose to be paid in ZAR, USD, GBP, or a combination.

  • Performance bonuses: Significant partnership success bonuses (available after 6-month probation).

  • Company profit-sharing: Enhanced participation in overall company success.

  • Equity: Meaningful equity participation for high performers (considered after 12 months).

  • Benefits: Full benefits package is available after a 6-month probation period.

  • UK visa opportunity: Outstanding performers eligible for sponsorship (after 18 months minimum).

  • Progression: Clear path to Principal or VP-level roles based on performance.

30-60-90 day expectations
  • Day 30 – Complete onboarding, understand the partnership ecosystem, and develop a channel strategy.

  • Day 60 – Successfully initiate new partnership discussions and demonstrate strategic thinking.

  • Day 90 – Consistently drive partnership growth and lead strategic initiatives.


Probation and performance framework
  • 6-month probation period with monthly performance reviews and clear success metrics.

  • Performance thresholds: Must achieve channel development targets to progress beyond probation.

  • Benefits eligibility: Full benefits package available after successful probation completion.

  • Equipment policy: Company equipment must be returned if employment ends during probation.
