About the role
As an Agency Partnerships Manager working remotely from South Africa, you will manage strategic alliances with key agency partners and drive partnership growth across the UK and international markets. You will be responsible for developing and executing partnership strategies, managing complex alliance relationships, and ensuring mutual success for GoGorilla and partner agencies.
Day to day, you'll be managing strategic agency relationships, developing partnership growth strategies, coordinating cross-functional partnership initiatives, and working with senior stakeholders to drive partnership success. This role requires strong relationship management skills and strategic thinking to build and maintain high-value partnerships.
Working pattern and flexibility
This is a senior management role available as full-time, fully remote from South Africa. You'll work closely with our London headquarters team through structured communication and regular video calls. Core collaboration hours align with South African mornings (UK afternoons) for optimal team interaction. Time tracking software is required for security and progress monitoring.
Leadership trajectory
This is a management role with opportunities to advance to Principal or Director-level partnership positions. You'll manage partnership portfolios and may lead partnership teams. Exceptional performers will have opportunities for UK visa sponsorship and potential relocation to our London office, or advancement into senior partnership leadership roles.
What you will be doing
Manage strategic alliances with key agency partners across multiple markets.
Develop and execute partnership growth strategies and initiatives.
Lead partnership performance reviews and optimisation efforts.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to support partnership success.
Negotiate partnership agreements and commercial terms.
Identify new strategic alliance opportunities and evaluate partnership potential.
Represent GoGorilla in senior-level partnership discussions and industry events.
Mentor partnership team members and contribute to team development.
What you will bring
University degree with 4-6 years of experience in partnership management or strategic alliances.
Proven track record managing complex, high-value partnerships.
Excellent English communication and relationship management skills for senior stakeholders.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
Experience with technology partnerships and alliance management.
Right to work in South Africa with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
Management experience and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Compensation and progression
Base salary: R55,000 to R65,000 per month (full-time).
Currency options: Choose to be paid in ZAR, USD, GBP, or a combination.

30-60-90 day expectations
Day 30 – Complete onboarding, understand alliance portfolio, and develop management strategies.

Day 90 – Consistently drive alliance growth and lead strategic initiatives.
Probation and performance framework
6-month probation period with monthly performance reviews and clear success metrics.
Performance thresholds: Must achieve alliance management targets to progress beyond probation.

Equipment policy: Company equipment must be returned if employment ends during the probationary period.
