About the role
As a Principal Agency Partnerships professional working remotely from South Africa, you will lead global partnership programmes and drive strategic partnership initiatives across international markets. You will be responsible for developing and executing global partnership strategies, managing enterprise-level partnerships, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver partnership success.
Day-to-day, you'll develop global partnership strategies, manage enterprise agency relationships, lead partnership programme initiatives, and work with senior leadership to drive strategic partnership growth. This role requires exceptional strategic thinking and leadership skills to build and manage complex global partnership ecosystems.
Working pattern and flexibility
This is a senior principal role available as full-time, fully remote from South Africa. You'll work closely with our London headquarters team and global stakeholders through structured communication and regular video calls. Core collaboration hours align with South African mornings (UK afternoons) with flexibility for international time zones. Time tracking software is required for security and progress monitoring.
Leadership trajectory
This is a senior leadership role with opportunities to advance to VP or Director-level positions. You'll lead global partnership strategies and manage partnership teams. Exceptional performers will have opportunities for UK visa sponsorship and potential relocation to our London office, or advancement into executive partnership leadership roles.
What you will be doing
Develop and execute global partnership strategies and programmes.
Manage enterprise-level agency partnerships across multiple international markets.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver partnership initiatives and programmes.
Drive strategic partnership growth and expansion into new markets.
Represent GoGorilla in senior-level industry discussions and global events.
Mentor and develop partnership team members across different regions.
Collaborate with senior leadership on partnership strategy and business development.
Identify and evaluate new global partnership opportunities and market expansion.
What you will bring
University degree with 5+ years of experience in senior partnership or business development roles.
Proven track record leading global partnership programmes and enterprise relationships.
Excellent English communication and leadership skills for senior international stakeholders.
Strong strategic thinking and programme management capabilities.
Experience with global technology partnerships and international business development.
Right to work in South Africa with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
Senior leadership experience and ability to manage complex, multi-regional initiatives.

Compensation and progression
Base salary: R65,000 to R75,000 per month (full-time).
Currency options: Choose to be paid in ZAR, USD, GBP, or a combination.

30-60-90 day expectations
Day 30 – Complete onboarding, understand the global partnership landscape, and develop strategic plans.
Day 60 – Successfully initiate global programme initiatives and demonstrate strategic leadership.
Day 90 – Consistently drive global partnership growth and lead strategic programmes.
Probation and performance framework
6-month probation period with monthly performance reviews and clear success metrics.
Performance thresholds: Must achieve global programme targets to progress beyond probation.

Equipment policy: Company equipment must be returned if employment ends during the probationary period.
