About GoGorilla

GoGorilla is the world's first performance marketing company built on financial technology. We've engineered a platform that hardwires client objectives into every campaign, ensuring transparent, auditable results that traditional agencies can't match. When our clients win, you win. You'll join a high-performance London team where your commercial impact directly shapes your career trajectory and financial rewards.

About the role

As an Account Executive in our Client Strategy team, you will be the day-to-day lead for a portfolio of high-growth clients. You will be responsible for understanding their business objectives, developing and executing growth strategies, and ensuring that we are delivering against our promises. This is a foundational role where you will learn to manage client relationships, think strategically, and drive measurable results.

Day-to-day, you'll work closely with our clients to understand their needs, collaborate with our internal teams to deliver exceptional work, and track performance to ensure we are on track to meet our goals. This role requires a blend of client management, strategic thinking, and project management skills.

Working pattern and flexibility

This is an entry-level role available in-office (London), hybrid, or fully remote. For in-office work, expect to be based in our central London office 4-5 days a week, where you will learn from our senior team and immerse yourself in our high-performance culture. Flexibility is offered for high performers who consistently exceed their targets. Time tracking is required for any hybrid or remote work to ensure security and progress monitoring, which is an industry-standard practice.

Leadership trajectory

This is a high-potential role with a clear path to leadership. You'll start by mastering the fundamentals of client strategy and account management, with the opportunity to progress to a Client Strategy Partner role within 18 to 24 months. Exceptional performers can then move into Lead and Head of Department roles, shaping our client success strategy and leading a team of strategists.

What you will be doing
  • Manage a portfolio of high-growth clients, acting as their primary point of contact at GoGorilla.

  • Develop a deep understanding of your clients' businesses, industries, and objectives.

  • Create and execute strategic growth plans for your clients, in collaboration with our internal specialist teams.

  • Track and report on client performance, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations.

  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with your clients, based on trust and mutual respect.

  • Identify opportunities to grow our business with your existing clients.

  • Collaborate with our sales team to onboard new clients and ensure a smooth transition.

  • Contribute to the development of our client strategy playbook and best practices.

What you will bring
  • A passion for marketing and a desire to help businesses grow.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.

  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with a desire to build a career in client strategy and account management.

  • Right to work in the UK. We do not offer visa sponsorship.

  • A desire to learn quickly, take ownership, and make a real impact on our clients' success.

You should not apply if
  • You are not passionate about building strong client relationships and helping businesses to succeed.

  • You are not comfortable with a role that involves a high degree of accountability for client performance.

  • You are not interested in a role that requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management, and client management skills.

  • You prefer a purely executional role without direct client interaction.

  • You are not comfortable with a role that has clear performance targets and metrics.

How we work
  • Outcomes first – your success is measured by the growth and success of your clients.

  • Autonomy with accountability – you have the freedom to manage your client portfolio with clear expectations for performance.

  • Build the playbook – you will help create and refine the processes that make our client strategy function scalable and successful.

  • One team – you collaborate closely with our specialist teams to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

  • Continuous improvement – regular feedback and performance data drive personal development and process enhancements.

Compensation and progression
  • Base salary: £40,000 to £50,000 (London), with adjustments for other UK locations (£35,000 to £45,000).

  • On-target performance bonus: Significant performance bonuses and success-sharing opportunities.

  • Company profit-sharing: Participation in overall company success.

  • Equity: Meaningful equity participation is a core part of our compensation philosophy for high-performing team members, offering a stake in our long-term success.

  • Benefits: Private healthcare for full-time UK employees after 6 months probation, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, laptop and modern tools, learning budget and regular team events.

  • Progression: Clear path to Client Strategy Partner within 18-24 months, with further opportunities for senior leadership.

30-60-90 day expectations
  • Day 30 – Complete onboarding, understand our client strategy process, and begin to build relationships with your clients.

  • Day 60 – Take ownership of your client portfolio and begin to develop your first strategic growth plans.

  • Day 90 – Demonstrate a clear understanding of your clients' businesses and consistently deliver against your performance targets.
