About the role


You'll be the first point of contact for ambitious founders of high-growth start-ups and scale-ups. You'll build relationships with the next generation of market leaders, understand their growth challenges, and introduce them to GoGorilla's unique performance marketing platform. Our in-house outreach team handles initial prospecting, allowing you to focus on strategic relationship building and qualification.


Day-to-day, you'll be qualifying inbound leads from marketing, managing opportunities generated by our outreach specialists, conducting strategic discovery calls, and building relationships with founders and senior executives. This role combines strategic thinking, relationship building, and consultative selling skills.


Working pattern and flexibility


This is an entry-level role available in-office (London), hybrid, or fully remote. For in-office work, expect to be based in our central London office 4-5 days a week, where you will learn from our senior team and immerse yourself in our high-performance culture. Flexibility is offered for high performers who consistently exceed their targets. Time tracking is required for any hybrid or remote work to ensure security and progress monitoring, which is an industry-standard practice.


Leadership trajectory


This is a high-potential role with a clear path to leadership. You'll start by mastering the fundamentals of founder outreach and qualification, with the opportunity to progress to a Founder Partnerships Lead role within 12 to 18 months. Exceptional performers can then move into Principal roles, shaping our start-up and scale-up strategy and leading a team of associates.

What you will be doing
  • Qualify inbound leads from our marketing team and partnership channels.

  • Manage and prioritise opportunities generated by our in-house outreach specialists.

  • Conduct strategic discovery calls to understand founders' business challenges and growth objectives.

  • Qualify opportunities and book meetings for our senior sales team.

  • Build and maintain a strong personal network of founders, VCs, and other key players in the start-up ecosystem.

  • Provide strategic input to our outreach team on messaging and targeting for start-up segments.

  • Track and report on your qualification activities and pipeline development using our CRM.

  • Represent GoGorilla at start-up events, demo days, and networking opportunities.


What you will bring
  • A genuine passion for start-ups, technology, and entrepreneurship.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with senior executives.

  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with a desire to build a career in sales or business development.

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and qualify high-potential companies.

  • Right to work in the UK. We do not offer visa sponsorship.

  • A desire to learn quickly, take ownership, and make a real impact on our growth.

Compensation and progression
  • Base salary: £35,000 to £45,000 (London), with adjustments for other UK locations (£30,000 to £40,000).

  • On-target commission: Uncapped, with significant earning potential based on performance.

  • Company profit-sharing: Participation in overall company success.

  • Equity: Meaningful equity participation is a core part of our compensation philosophy for high-performing team members, offering a stake in our long-term success.

  • Benefits: Private healthcare for full-time UK employees after 6 months probation, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, laptop and modern tools, learning budget and regular team events.

  • Progression: Clear path to Founder Partnerships Lead within 12-18 months, with further opportunities for senior leadership.

30-60-90 day expectations
  • Day 30 – complete onboarding, understand our ideal client profile, and begin building your first outreach campaigns.

  • Day 60 – consistently generate a pipeline of qualified opportunities and book your first meetings for the sales team.

  • Day 90 – demonstrate a clear understanding of our value proposition and consistently exceed your targets for qualified opportunity generation.

  3. Role task – a short case study on how you would identify and research a list of high-potential start-ups for GoGorilla.

  4. Interviews – meet the hiring lead, sales team members, and senior stakeholders.

  5. Offer and checks – written offer with base and commission structure, right-to-work and references.

  6. Onboarding – a clear plan, team introductions and access to GorillaAcademy resources.
