About the role


As Founder Partnerships Lead, you will be responsible for building and managing our relationships with the world's leading accelerators and incubators. You'll create a scalable programme that provides high-potential start-ups with access to our performance marketing platform, helping them to achieve rapid, sustainable growth. This is a strategic role where you'll be a key player in building our brand and pipeline in the global start-up ecosystem.


Day to day, you'll be building relationships with the partners and programme managers at top-tier accelerators, designing and delivering workshops and content for their portfolio companies, and managing a pipeline of new business opportunities. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship management, and a deep understanding of the start-up journey.


Working pattern and flexibility


This is a mid-level role available in-office (London), hybrid, or fully remote. For in-office, expect to be in our central London office 3-4 days a week for strategic collaboration. A high degree of flexibility is offered for high performers who consistently exceed their targets. Time tracking is required for any hybrid or remote work to ensure security and progress monitoring, which is an industry-standard practice.


Leadership development


You'll build and manage a high-performing team focused on relationships with accelerators and incubators. This role offers significant opportunities to develop strategic planning and execution skills while mentoring junior and mid-level team members. You'll contribute to departmental strategy and process development, with clear progression opportunities to Principal and senior leadership roles within 18-24 months. This position offers substantial equity participation and provides a foundation for advancing to Head of Founder Partnerships as the company scales.

What you will be doing
  • Build and manage relationships with the world's leading accelerators and incubators, including Y Combinator, Techstars, and 500 Startups.

  • Design and deliver a scalable programme of workshops, content, and office hours for their portfolio companies.

  • Generate a pipeline of qualified new business opportunities from the accelerator and incubator ecosystem.

  • Work closely with our sales team to convert those opportunities into new clients.

  • Build and manage a team of founder partnership associates to support the growth of the programme.

  • Represent GoGorilla at accelerator demo days, industry events, and networking opportunities.

  • Track and report on the performance of the accelerator and incubator programme, using data to drive strategic decisions.

  • Act as a key spokesperson for GoGorilla on the topic of start-up growth and performance marketing.


What you will bring
  • Extensive experience in partnerships, business development, or community management, with a proven track record of building and managing relationships with accelerators and incubators.

  • A deep understanding of the global start-up ecosystem, with a strong network of contacts at senior levels within accelerators, incubators, and VC funds.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging workshops and content to founders.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building and leading high-performing teams.

  • Right to work in the UK. We do not offer visa sponsorship.

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to build scalable, repeatable programmes.

Compensation and progression
  • Base salary: £45,000 to £55,000 (London), with adjustments for other UK locations.

  • On-target commission: Uncapped, with significant earning potential based on performance.

  • Company profit-sharing: Significant participation in overall company success.

  • Equity: Meaningful equity participation is a core part of our compensation philosophy for high-performing team members, offering a stake in our long-term success.

  • Benefits: Private healthcare for full-time UK employees after 6 months probation, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, laptop and modern tools, learning budget and regular team events.

  • Progression: Clear path to Principal, Founder Partnerships within 18-24 months, with opportunities to shape the company's overall growth strategy.

30-60-90 day expectations
  • Day 30 – Complete onboarding, take ownership of our existing accelerator and incubator relationships, and begin developing your programme strategy.

  • Day 60 – Present your programme strategy to senior leadership and begin executing on your first initiatives.

  • Day 90 – Demonstrate a clear pipeline of new business opportunities from your programme and show early signs of success.
