About the role


You'll lead the design and execution of portfolio programmes that create scalable value for investors and their portfolio companies. This is a strategic role where you'll build repeatable frameworks that turn investor relationships into predictable revenue streams. Your success directly drives company growth and positions you for rapid progression to the Principal level.


Day-to-day, you'll design portfolio enablement programmes, coordinate with fund platform teams, run cohort-based initiatives for portfolio companies, and track performance across multiple investor relationships. This role is part of the Investor Partnerships track and offers significant earning potential through performance-based rewards.


Working pattern and flexibility


This is primarily an in-office role in central London. Expect to be in the office 4 to 5 days a week during your first three months, while you learn our platform, build the playbook, and meet targets. Once established, and with manager approval, high performers can earn flexibility to work from home up to two days a week. Time tracking is a standard company policy for any work completed outside our office environment. This industry-standard practice is implemented across our entire organisation, from the executive team to interns, ensuring security, progress monitoring, and transparent performance measurement.


Leadership development


You'll build and manage a high-performing team focused on portfolio engagement and investor relations. This role offers significant opportunities to develop strategic planning and execution skills while mentoring junior and mid-level team members. You'll contribute to departmental strategy and process development, with clear progression opportunities to Principal and senior leadership roles within 18-24 months. This position offers substantial equity participation and provides a foundation for advancing to Head of Investor Partnerships as the company scales.

What you will be doing
  • Design and execute portfolio programmes that create value for investors and their portfolio companies.

  • Build relationships with fund platform teams and portfolio company executives.

  • Run cohort-based initiatives including workshops, masterclasses, and peer learning sessions.

  • Create frameworks and playbooks that make investor partnerships scalable and repeatable.

  • Track and optimise programme performance across multiple metrics, including engagement, conversion, and revenue.

  • Coordinate with our sales and client success teams to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Lead strategic initiatives that position GoGorilla as the preferred marketing partner for the investment community.

  • Mentor and develop junior team members as the function grows.


What you will bring
  • Significant experience in portfolio programmes, investor relations, or strategic partnerships within the VC/PE ecosystem.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling programmes that create value for multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate complex initiatives across multiple organisations.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience facilitating workshops and events.

  • London office presence. Right to work in the UK is required. We do not offer visa sponsorship.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to build frameworks that scale across different investor types.

How we work

Compensation and progression
  • Base salary: £45,000 to £55,000 (London rates).

  • Commission structure: £20,000 to £35,000 through programme performance and revenue generation (On-target earnings: £65,000 to £90,000).

  • Performance bonuses: Significant additional rewards for exceeding targets and strategic milestones.

  • Equity participation: Share options available for high performers after demonstrating consistent excellence and strategic impact.

  • Progression: Clear path to Principal level within 12-18 months as the function expands.

30-60-90 day expectations
  • Day 30 – Complete onboarding, understand our existing investor relationships, and design your first portfolio programme.

  • Day 60 – Launch your first programme with at least one major investor, and establish performance tracking systems.

  • Day 90 – Demonstrate clear programme engagement and conversion metrics, with a roadmap for scaling across multiple investors.
